HISTORY

Established in 1994, the Maurio label is filling the absence of versatile men’s shirts and ties in the Australian market.

From then onwards, Maurio became renowned for its well-made microfibre shirts that were available in twenty five different colours. They were also uniquely light in weight and smooth to the touch, and became a staple item in many wardrobes.

Not long after, Maurio expanded its range by introducing a new kid line called mauriojunior. A large variety of accessories for boys were available such as ties and bow-ties, and formal vests to match.

In 2008, Maurio developed a new and innovative fabric called ‘SupaFine’ to replace the existing microfibre fabric. ‘SupaFine’ immediately dominated the Australian market as it was more durable wash after wash, but it still had a smooth texture and lightweight feel on the skin.

Maurio also welcomed a third label to join its forces - Cartane is a brand that strongly focuses on trend-inspired looks that are refreshed every season.

Fast forward to today, Maurio and its sub-brands remain as the most highly recognised manufacturer and distributor of menswear in Australia. It is stocked in over thousand of locations nation-wide, and is proudly represented by experienced national managers across Australia to look after each of these.
